The first woman spokesperson for Qatar’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, H.E. Lolwah Al Khater, has become a defining voice in the nation’s diplomacy. She rose to prominence during the 2017 diplomatic crisis, defending Qatar with clarity and conviction, and later played a crucial role in the evacuation of Afghan refugees in 2021. Today, as Minister of State for International Cooperation, she continues to shape Qatar’s global presence, standing firmly for humanitarian causes and advocating for the rights of Palestinians in Gaza.
