Vehicle Inspection — What Gets Checked
- Tyre condition and tread depth
- Brakes — front and rear
- Lights — headlights, indicators, brake lights, hazards
- Emissions — exhaust output must meet Qatar's standards
- Windscreen — no major cracks in the driver's line of sight
- Wipers and horn functionality
- Vehicle identification number (VIN) verification
If your vehicle fails on a minor point, most inspection centres allow a same-day or next-day re-inspection after the issue is fixed. A clean, well-maintained vehicle will pass without issues.
