Two Palestinians Killed in Israeli Shelling Across Gaza

Gaza: Two Palestinians were killed and several others injured in overnight Israeli airstrikes and shelling across the Gaza Strip, according to Palestinian medical sources. The latest attacks targeted multiple areas of the enclave, adding to the mounting humanitarian toll of the ongoing conflict. 

Medical sources said the two fatalities occurred after an Israeli aircraft struck a civilian vehicle in a neighbourhood of Gaza City. Several other people sustained injuries in the attack and were taken to nearby medical facilities for treatment. 

The strikes formed part of continued Israeli military operations across the Gaza Strip, where residents have faced repeated bombardments amid an already severe humanitarian crisis. Emergency and civil defence teams responded to the affected areas, while medical personnel continued efforts to assist the wounded. 

The latest incident comes as international organisations continue to express concern over the deteriorating humanitarian situation in Gaza, calling for greater protection of civilians and unhindered access for humanitarian assistance. 

The conflict has resulted in significant casualties and widespread destruction, with diplomatic efforts continuing to seek a lasting de-escalation and improved humanitarian access for the civilian population.
