Training Program for QGOSM's Employees

On the Job training at QGOSM Headquarter

HE Engineer Mohammed bin Saud Al Musallam, the Chairperson of Qatar General Organization for Standardization and Metrology (QGOSM), inaugurated yesterday the "Standardization Infrastructure" training program, which is organized by QGOSM at its headquarter and will be held until the seventh of February.

Al Musallam said, in his opening speech, that organizing the training program comes in implementation of the QGOSM’s strategy to raise the efficiency of its employees and based on its keenness and constant pursuit to achieve an ideal work environment through which it seeks to provide its members of Qatari cadres with the knowledge and expertise necessary to develop and enhance their capabilities and skills to advance their job duties efficiently and effectively.

The importance of the program, which is presented by a group of experts and specialists in various fields of standardization, is to transfer their expertise and experience to the trainees and provide them with the knowledge and skills necessary to carry out their new tasks, and provide participants with the ability to understand the principles of the World Trade Organization (WTO) and the agreements related to standardization.
