The country holds fourth position in the list of top five with Basic Knowledge Index 64. The education system in the country is divided into four parts, early years (ages 3–4), primary education (ages 4–11), secondary education (ages 11–18) and tertiary education (ages 18+). Full-time education is compulsory for all children aged between 5 and 17. Education is compulsory but going to school is not compulsory. Children could be educated at home also.
