Three arrested for trafficking, sheltering and employing domestic workers

The Search and Follow-up Department (SFD) at the General Directorate of Passports arrested three men from one of the Asian countries for trafficking, sheltering and employing domestic workers.

Acting on a suspicious ad on social media regarding domestic workers, after taking the necessary permissions and coordinating with the relevant security departments, the SFD caught the accused red-handed as they sheltered many housemaids.

During the interrogation, the accused confessed to the charges against them and gave details of how they shelter and employ domestic workers through ads published on social media platforms. 

Accordingly, the accused were referred to the Public Prosecution for further legal procedures followed in this regard.
