8. Date Harvesting Tour 

Spend a whole afternoon getting into Qatar’s seasonal date harvest at Heenat Salma Farm. You’ll be out harvesting fresh Rutab under thriving palms, wandering along through organic groves, and picking up traditional ways like palm climbing or shake‑sheet harvesting too.

The whole thing feels tied to the cultural weight of the date palm, but it still stays pretty hands on. Guests get to pick from three options that fit how you want the day to go. There is the Harvest Experience, with guided harvesting and a basket of dates you can take home. Then you’ve got Harvest + Afternoon Tea, a farm to table tea that’s both nourishing and easy. Or choose Harvest + Culinary Class, where those freshly picked dates get turned into something you can taste, like salads or cookies, in the farm’s open air kitchen.
