5. Uzbekistan: Heritage in Motion Exhibition
.jpg)
Discover the rich Islamic heritage that has shaped Uzbekistan's culture, creativity, and identity at this Museum of Islamic Art exhibition, the first in 30 years to directly link the country's history to its modern national identity. Spanning four themes, the exhibition traces Uzbekistan's story from its pre-Islamic roots as a cosmopolitan crossroads, through architectural innovation and intellectual legacy, to a celebration of traditional craft, ceramics, textiles, silk, and jewellery that remain vital to Uzbekistan's cultural fabric today. A journey through history that shows how the past continues to shape the nation's present and future.
