The MOI Says its Taken All Necessary Precautions to Ensure Safety

The Ministry of Interior confirmed that it has taken the necessary precautionary measures to preserve the safety of citizens, residents and visitors, in light of regional developments, while stressing the need to obtain information from official and approved sources.

The Ministry of Interior said in a statement that it is constantly taking all the precautions necessary to ensure the safety of all. It stressed that this was an utmost priority for the Ministry, adding that it will provide the public with all the pieces of information and measures taken as needed. It also said that this was in light of regional developments and as part of the ministry's commitment to the safety and security of citizens and residents, and visitors of the State of Qatar.

The Ministry of Interior stressed the importance of relying on official sources when obtaining information, adding that the designated authorities will not hesitate to take all legal measures against those involved in publishing false information that harms security.
