Safeena Husain, an advocate for education in India, has been honored with the 2023 WISE Prize for her unwavering commitment to empowering communities and advancing girls' education in some of the most challenging villages in India.
The award was presented by H.E. Sheikha Hind bint Hamad Al Thani, Vice Chairperson and CEO of Qatar Foundation, to Safeena Husain, who is the Founder and Board Member of Educate Girls, at the 11th World Innovation Summit for Education (WISE). The event took place at the Qatar National Convention Centre in Doha.
The WISE Prize for Education stands as the inaugural global award recognizing individuals for their exceptional contributions to the field of education.
