Sheikh Joaan bin Hamad Al-Thani
HE Qatar Olympic Committee (QOC) President Sheikh Joaan bin Hamad Al-Thani honored Wednesday former presidents of national sports federations.
HE QOC Secretary-General Jassim bin Rashid Al Buainain was in attendance.
The move is an expression of gratitude for the former presidents' dedicated efforts to boost the progress of Qatari sports and its position on the international stage.
The honorees included former president of the Qatar Golf Association Hassan Nasser Al Nuaimi, former president of the Qatar Swimming Association Khalil Ibrahim Al Jaber, and former president of the Qatar Cycling and Triathlon Federation Mohammed Jaham Al Kuwari.
