QCAA Shuts Down Four Travel Agencies Over Regulatory Violations
The Qatar Civil Aviation Authority (QCAA) has announced the closure of four travel agencies found to be in violation of approved laws and regulations, following intensified inspection campaigns carried out by its Air Transport Department.
The authority confirmed that the enforcement action is part of ongoing efforts to strengthen oversight of the air transport sector and ensure full compliance with licensing requirements.
QCAA reiterated its commitment to expanding inspection activities and urged all travel and air cargo agencies to strictly adhere to regulatory provisions. It emphasized that no entity may conduct travel or cargo‑related operations without securing the necessary licenses from the competent department, in line with Article (9) of Law No. (3) of 2025.
Officials stressed that the closures reflect Qatar’s determination to uphold transparency, protect consumers, and maintain the integrity of the aviation services sector.
