Prime Minister Launches Endowments and Islamic Affairs 2025–2030 Strategy

His Excellency Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, has officially launched the Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs 2025–2030 Strategy, a comprehensive plan designed to strengthen institutional performance and advance services across da’wah and guidance, endowments, zakat, mosques, and religious affairs.

In his remarks, HE the Prime Minister described the strategy as an extension of Qatar National Vision and a reflection of society’s pride in its Islamic identity and values. He emphasized that the plan seeks to reinforce social solidarity, strengthen the culture of endowment, and enhance institutional efficiency by balancing authenticity, modernity, and future aspirations.

The strategy, titled “Embedding the message of Islam in thought, worship, and conduct, while fostering modern, cohesive, and sustainable communities”, is anchored on values of moderation, leadership by example, excellence, partnership, and sustainability.

The launch ceremony outlined the strategy’s main pillars, phased objectives, and key initiatives, highlighting targets across religious services and institutional transformation.

HE Ghanem bin Shaheen Al Ghanem, Minister of Endowments and Islamic Affairs, noted that while rapid technological and social change present challenges, it also offers opportunities to drive innovation, improve efficiency, and expand impact. He explained that the strategy was developed through analysis, stakeholder consultations, benchmarking, and proactive planning, with a focus on strengthening values and identity, reinforcing financial and social sustainability, and improving the quality of government services.

The minister stressed that the plan is built on partnership and integration with government entities, community institutions, and the private sector, reflecting the belief that national impact is a shared responsibility.

Officials underscored that the launch reflects Qatar’s continued commitment to a development model that balances authenticity and modernity, grounded in values, institutional sustainability, and investment in people.
