Qatari Ali Ghanem Al Kuwari Appointed Secretary General of FIVB Technology and Innovation Committee

The International Volleyball Federation (FIVB) has appointed Ali Ghanem Al Kuwari, President of both the Qatar and West Asia Volleyball Federations, as the Secretary General of its Technology and Innovation Committee.

Additionally, the FIVB selected Qatari Mohammed Salem Al Kuwari to join the Beach Volleyball Committee, and Waleed Abdul-Samad, Technical Secretary of the Referees Committee at the Qatar Volleyball Federation, to the Rules and Refereeing Committee. Cherif Younousse, a player from the Qatari beach volleyball team, was also appointed to the FIVB Players Committee.

In a statement on Saturday, the Qatar Volleyball Federation said that the selection of Ali Ghanem Al Kuwari, President of the Qatar and West Asia Volleyball Federations, as Secretary General of the FIVB Technology and Innovation Committee is a significant addition to his distinguished career in sports development. It highlights the prominent role that Qatari talents play on the international sports stage.
