LNG facility attack Qatar
Alongside the earlier attack on Ras Laffan Industrial City on Wednesday 18 March 2026 which caused significant damage to the Pearl GTL (Gas-to-Liquids) facility, QatarEnergy confirms that in the early hours of Thursday 19 March 2026 multiple missile strikes targeted several of its Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) facilities, with sizeable fires and extensive further damage being reported.
No casualties were reported, while emergency response teams were immediately dispatched to contain the resulting damage.
