Qatar SC defeated Kuwait's Burgan SC in their match today at Abdullah bin Suhaim Hall at Qatar Club, as part of the fourth group competitions in the group stage of the 43rd edition of the Arab Men's Volleyball Clubs Championship, which will continue until January 25.

Qatar SC won 25-22, 25-11, 25-14 after the team presented a distinguished level during the three sets despite the competitiveness demonstrated by the Kuwaiti Burgan team.

At the end of the second round matches, Qatar SC topped the group's general standings with 6 points, followed by Al-Jazira SC of the UAE with 5 points in second place, Burgan SC of Kuwait with one point in third place, and the Palestinian Gaza team in fourth place with no points.

Mohammed Salem Al Kuwari, a member of the Board of Directors of the Qatar Volleyball Association, said that Doha has not hosted Arab volleyball championships for a while, noting that the current championship represents a great opportunity for Qatari clubs, led by Qatar Club and Al Shorta teams to compete for the title.

Al Kuwari said the current championship witnessed the participation of the best Arab teams with 15 teams taking part in it.
