Qatar, Rwanda Sign MoU for Defense Cooperation
The State of Qatar and the Republic of Rwanda signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) for defense cooperation between the two countries.
The memorandum aims to establish a cooperative framework in the field of defense and security, in addition to enhancing and strengthening the existing friendship and solidarity relations between the two countries.
From the Qatari side, HE Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces Lieutenant-General (Pilot) Salem bin Hamad bin Aqeel Al Nabit, who is visiting Kigali, signed the MoU, while HE Chief of Defense Staff General Jean Bosco Kazura signed the memorandum from the Rwandan side, in the presence of officials and a number of high-ranking officers from both sides.
