Egypt
Ministry of Public Health has removed Egypt from the list of some countries in the exceptional red list countries, which required 7 days quarantine.
Since it is still in the exceptional red list, travellers from Egypt will have to do a 2-day hotel quarantine and a PCR test on the first day at the quarantine hotel after arrival (all age groups).
As per the new quarantine and travel policy, those coming from Botswana, Eswatini, Lesotho, Namibia, South Africa and Zimbabwe need seven days home or hotel quarantine for citizens, seven days hotel quarantine for GCC citizens, and two days hotel and five days home quarantine for residents.Â
Meanwhile the visitors from these countries will be subject to hotel quarantine upon arrival. The changes come into effect from Wednesday, 1 December 2021, at 6pm.
