Latest Update on Covid-19 cases in Qatar

Qatar recorded a total of 365 new coronavirus (Covid-19) cases and 2 deaths on Wednesday, February 23, 2022, according to the Ministry of Public Health (MoPH).

The individuals who died due to COVID-19  were aged 61 and 70 years, and the total death toll from the virus in the country now stands at 664.

Out of the 365 new cases, 304 are community cases and 61 are travellers returning from abroad.  

The number of active cases under treatment in the country fell to 5,117 and the number of recoveries was 573 in the last 24 hours.  

There was one new admission in intensive care in the last 24 hours and 27 people are receiving medical attention in ICU.

There were two cases of hospital admissions in the last 24 hours, taking the total number of patients in hospitals to 36.

MoPH said that 20,965 doses of Covid-19 vaccines were administered during the past 24 hours.
