Qatar Rail announces temporary suspension of Lusail Tram services

Qatar Rail has announced the temporary suspension of Lusail Tram services from June 26 to July 5, 2026, as part of major network improvement works aimed at enhancing passenger services and overall tram performance. The suspension is being carried out in coordination with the Ministry of Transport to support ongoing infrastructure upgrades across the network.

Alternative Transport Services Available

To ensure uninterrupted travel for passengers during the suspension period, Qatar Rail will provide replacement bus services between Legtaifiya Station and Tarfat South Station. In addition, metroexpress and metrolink services, including the newly launched Metrolink Route M154, will continue operating to serve the affected areas and maintain smooth connectivity.
