HE Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani held a phone conversation with Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah Al-Saud

Qatar and Saudi Arabia have reaffirmed their strong bilateral ties and shared commitment to regional diplomacy following a phone conversation between HE Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani and HH Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah Al-Saud on Tuesday.

The two senior officials discussed the current state of bilateral cooperation between the two brotherly kingdoms and explored concrete ways to enhance and develop those relations across areas of mutual interest.

The conversation also turned to the latest regional developments, with both sides exchanging views on the ongoing diplomatic efforts and joint coordination being undertaken to de-escalate tensions and strengthen security and stability across the region — a priority that has taken on renewed urgency amid the complex pressures currently shaping the Gulf landscape.

HE the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs reaffirmed Qatar's firm and unwavering support for all diplomatic efforts and initiatives working toward a resolution that guarantees the freedom of maritime navigation. He stressed Qatar's commitment to backing all endeavours that create the right conditions for a comprehensive agreement capable of delivering lasting and sustainable peace across the region.
