Qatar is participating with a delegation headed by HE the Minister of Education and Higher Education Buthaina bint Ali Al Jabr Al Nuaimi in the World Education Forum, in London.

The work of the forum, which is scheduled to conclude on Wednesday, revolves around the theme of Education: Building Forward Together, for Stronger, Boldier, and Better Education, with the participation of a large number of education ministers and officials from different countries of the world.

They will discuss a set of topics related to the challenges facing the countries and societies of the world, their long-term impact, the lessons learned from Covid-19 pandemic, how technology has contributed to overcoming them, and the importance of education in building peace among peoples.

The Forum will also discuss the challenges facing countries in the education sector and their impact on its quality, the importance of access to education and equality, the development of educational paths to improve life opportunities for students, the role of education in the development of societies and individuals, and how to assess the success of the educational system, as well as supporting students in times of turmoil and epidemics, and the impact of education in making a difference in climate change.

The Forum concludes with a session to review innovative ways and methods of cooperation between countries in building strong and better education for the people.

The World Education Forum is the largest annual gathering of education ministers in the world and is held in London with the support of the Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO), the Ministries of Education and International Development, International Trade and the British Council.
