Qatar Participates in Inauguration Ceremony of Peru President

Qatar participated in the inauguration ceremony of Keiko Sofia Fujimori as President of the Republic of Peru, held in Lima on Thursday.

The State of Qatar was represented at the ceremony by Sultan bin Saad Al Muraikhi, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, according to the Qatar News Agency (QNA).

The participation reflects Qatar’s engagement with Peru and its interest in strengthening bilateral relations and cooperation with the South American country.

The inauguration brought together representatives from Qatar and other countries for the formal ceremony marking the beginning of Fujimori’s presidency.

Qatar and Peru maintain diplomatic relations and have continued to develop ties across political, economic and other areas of mutual interest.

Qatar’s representation at the inauguration underscores the importance Doha places on maintaining diplomatic engagement and strengthening relations with countries in Latin America.
