The First Spartan Race in Qatar

Qatar Olympic Committee (QOC) announced that it will organize the first Spartan Race in Qatar on March 25-26, where Al Shaqab will host the race.

Participants will take part in obstacle races of varying distances and challenges inspired by the warrior culture of ancient Spartan. They will be able to improve their physical fitness and discover their skills, focus, and endurance.

On the first day, there will be a ladies-only event and a special event for kids.

A Spartan Race event takes place across 42 countries each year with more than 2500 races. It has become one of the most popular and toughest obstacle races internationally.

Spartan races include challenges such as climbing under barbed wire, jumping over fire, climbing ropes, tossing spears, and climbing walls.

Spartan race will be held on 25 March for women only, whereas on 26 March it will be for children and rest of the public. The event will feature 5K Spartan Sprint, 10K Super Sprint, and Kids Sprint.

Spratan Sprint 5K

There is no other race like the Spartan Sprint. This signature race type takes participants on a fast-paced adventure through rugged terrain.

The Spartan Sprint is a 5-kilometer race with 20 obstacles set in rugged terrain. It is designed for both new and experienced racers, making it the ideal entry point into the world of Spartan.

10K Spartan Super

During the 10K Spartan Super, participants will compete in a race that blends speed, endurance, and technical skill over rugged terrain. This race will test your athleticism and mental hardiness over rugged terrain.

Spartant Kids

For the Spartan Kids, participants can get their kids (ages 4-14) outdoors and outside having fun, running, jumping, and crushing their way through obstacles, just like adults do.
