Qatar's national team football team completed its training today, in Belgrade in preparation to face Serbian national team on Thursday, in the penultimate round of the European qualifiers for the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022.

The training in which all the players on the list chosen by the coach participated, focused on the technical aspects in order to prepare them both mentally and physically.

The Spanish coach, Felix Sanchez, explained that tomorrow's match against Serbia will be difficult, especially as it is one of the advanced teams in the international classification, which has distinguished players active in major leagues, considering that the match is a great challenge that seeks with its players to make a good appearance during it.

"The players will seek to appear better from the first leg, during which we suffered from high pressure exerted by the opponent, expressing his hope that the team will perform a different performance that achieves the desired result", Sanchez said, in the match press conference,

He stressed that during the last training, he worked on correcting the mistakes of the last matches, pointing out that the results in the qualifiers during the two previous pauses were not as ambitious, after achieving good results at the beginning of the qualifying campaign.

The Spaniard considered that the qualifiers matches are great and powerful experiences that lead the team to the biggest goal, which is preparing for the FIFA World Cup finals in Qatar 2022 next year.

Hosts of the 2022 FIFA World Cup, Qatar, are participating in the qualifiers as a practice in preparation for the mega tournament next year on home soil.

The reigning AFC Asian Cup titleholders automatically qualify for the FIFA World Cup 2022 as the host nation.
