Qatar was represented by H.E. Eng. Ali bin Mohammed Al Ali, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Municipality.

During the meeting, ministers reviewed measures aimed at improving strategic food reserves, ensuring the smooth flow of supply chains, and facilitating the movement of food commodities among GCC member states. The discussions were held in line with the decisions of the 19th GCC Consultative Meeting and focused on building a more integrated and resilient Gulf food security system.

Addressing the meeting, Eng. Ali bin Mohammed Al Ali stressed that evolving regional and global developments require stronger coordination among GCC countries.

He noted that food security has become a cornerstone of regional stability and highlighted the importance of unified efforts and preparedness to address future challenges. He added that the meeting marks another step toward creating a sustainable and flexible Gulf food security framework that supports the long-term aspirations of GCC member states.
