Yesterday Qatar put up a spectacular show included as Ahmed Khalil Al Muhannadi and Mohammed Abdul Wahab played a top-notch game and became the men's doubles champions after defeating their rivals from Bahrain in straight sets (15-13, 11-6, 11-3).
Yet another final yesterday witnessed Qatar's Sultan Al Kuwari and Ahmed Eid battling in a thriller against Tunisia to secure a silver medal. Ahmed Jabbar and Abdullah Abdel Wahab were crowned with the silver medal of the U19 doubles while Maryam Ali and Shawq Al Abdullah won the bronze medal in the U-15 womenâs doubles.
Khalil Ahmad Al Mohannadi, President of the Arab Table Tennis Federation and Qatar Table Tennis Association congratulated the Qatari players on their excellent performance.Â
