Qatar announces Prince’s Scholarship Program 2026–2027

Meanwhile, the Prince's Scholarship Programme, part of the Government Scholarship Plan 2026–2027, provides students with multiple scholarship opportunities for bachelor and postgraduate studies at leading accredited universities in Qatar and abroad, as well as additional incentives to successful students.

Amiri Scholarships

The Amiri Scholarships Program, run by the Ministry of Education and Higher Education, is designed for students heading to top universities either in Qatar or abroad at the state's expense for approved scholarship deals.

The program features the top 24 foreign universities for studying abroad, with another 5 universities in Education City for local study options.

It spans all fields and specialties at bachelor, master, and doctoral levels.

Applicants must have final unconditional offers from participating institutions and satisfy the general requirements for the scholarship.

Financial benefits

Different monetary advantages are awarded to selected students, which include:

• Monthly stipend of QR 8,000

• Individuals with a monthly travel allowance of QR 12,000

• Two annual business class tickets

• A one-time pre-departure clean expense of QR 10,000

• Study years included in preparation amount
