Qatar Airways Returns to Ras Al Khaimah Skies
On November 1, a Qatar Airways flight, operated by an Airbus A320, arrived at Ras Al Khaimah International Airport shortly after 10 PM, signifying the reinstatement of services on this route by one of the world's largest airline networks. With just an hour's flight from Qatar Airways' hub, Hamad International Airport in Doha, passengers can now seamlessly access Ras Al Khaimah.
In line with the Ras Al Khaimah Tourism Development Authority's (RAKTDA) strategy to bolster global connectivity to the Emirate, the collaboration with Qatar Airways will enhance international travel to Ras Al Khaimah. These flights will offer travelers more options, flexibility, and opportunities to explore this natural Emirate, tapping into Qatar Airways' extensive global network of over 160 destinations, including one-stop connections from European cities, which are vital source markets for Ras Al Khaimah.
Raki Phillips, CEO of Ras Al Khaimah Tourism Development Authority, expressed his enthusiasm, saying, "Following the announcement of the partnership between Qatar Airways and Ras Al Khaimah International Airport at ITB, Berlin's premier travel and tourism exhibition earlier this year in March, we are delighted to witness the commencement of operations to the emirate today. This partnership represents a significant milestone in driving Ras Al Khaimah's ongoing growth as a destination of the future."
Marwan Koleilat, Senior Vice President Commercial - Eastern Regions, commented on the partnership, stating, "The resumption of Qatar Airways flights to Ras Al Khaimah enhances connectivity for passengers from the UAE and beyond. Our award-winning airline continues to offer unmatched services, ranging from an extensive selection of in-flight entertainment to our world-class cuisine. Travelers to and from Ras Al Khaimah can now savor the quality offerings of Qatar Airways and access over 160 destinations through our hub, Hamad International Airport."
Ras Al Khaimah, recognized by Time magazine as one of the World's Greatest Places of 2022 and listed among CNN Travel's best destinations to visit in 2023 due to its breathtaking and distinctive topography and geodiversity, provides a plethora of genuine, diverse, and captivating experiences for all types of travelers. This makes it an ideal destination for those seeking adventure, nature, family enjoyment, and more.
