Qatar Airways launches new flights to Caracas, Venezuela & Bogotá, Colombia, starting 22 July 2026

Qatar Airways is said to confirm its growth further into the Americas with upcoming new flight operations. It launched service recently between Caracas, Venezuela, and Bogotá, Colombia beginning 22 July 2026. The service marks yet another 1st for the Airline, as Qatar Airways becomes the first-ever Gulf Carrier to serve Venezuela and also the first carrier to attempt flights from the Middle East to start services between Caracas & Bogotá. This is part of the airline's pledge to boost connectivity with the rest of world for the region, which it announced last year.

Caracas flights (CCS) & Bogotá (BOG): Qatar Airways

Finally, Qatar Airways will be offering two 2x weekly flights to Caracas and Bogotá further cementing that connection to and from the Americas. The flight schedule has been coordinated for rapid onward connections through Hamad International Airport to major destinations including Australia, China, Japan, Lebanon, South Korea and the United Arab Emirates. This provides passengers with increased flexibility and seamless connections on Qatar Airways’ global network.

Departing every Wednesday and Sunday:

Doha (DOH) to Bogotá (BOG) – Flight QR783: Departure 07:30; Arrival 16:05
Bogotá (BOG) to Caracas (CCS) – Flight QR783: Departure 17:35; Arrival 20:40
Caracas (CCS) to Doha (DOH) – Flight QR783 Departure 22:40; Arrival 19:55 +1

Caracas in Venezuela and the Colombian capital Bogota become the 15th and 16th destinations in the Americas for Qatar Airways. The first South American destination for the airline was Brazil, which started in 2010.
