Qatar Airways and Philippine Airlines Strengthen Partnership, Expand Global Connectivity
Qatar Airways and Philippine Airlines have announced a significant expansion of their strategic partnership, reinforcing cooperation through codeshare agreements and loyalty program integration to deliver broader travel options and enhanced rewards for passengers worldwide.
Building on the codeshare framework launched in June 2025, the expanded agreement unlocks more than 40 new destinations. Beginning June 1, 2026, Philippine Airlines will place its PR code on Qatar Airways flights from Manila, Cebu, Clark, and Davao to Doha, connecting onward to major European hubs including Paris, Rome, and Frankfurt via Hamad International Airport.
The partnership also extends to loyalty programs: members of Privilege Club and Mabuhay Miles can now collect and spend Avios across both airlinesâ networks, covering routes in Australasia, Southeast Asia, the United States, and key Philippine cities such as Cebu, Clark, and Davao City. Lifestyle benefits include Qatar Airways Holidays packages, Qatar Duty Free shopping, dining, and retail experiences, alongside Mabuhay Milesâ extensive partner rewards.
Additionally, Qatar Airways will place its QR code on Philippine Airlinesâ domestic flights, offering seamless connectivity from Manila and Cebu to leisure destinations such as Caticlan and Puerto Princesa.
Officials emphasized that this collaboration marks Privilege Clubâs 26th airline partnership, expanding its footprint in Southeast Asia and reinforcing both carriersâ commitment to operational reliability, customer experience, and global reach.
The announcement follows industry recognition in 2025: Qatar Airways was voted Worldâs Best Airline by Skytrax and received Platinum performance recognition from Cirium, while Philippine Airlines was named AsiaâPacificâs Most Punctual Airline by Cirium, reflecting its investments in efficiency and fleet readiness.
