The Wadi Al Sail portion of Al Bidda Park is currently closed, and the closure remains in effect until the beginning of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 in November, according to the Supreme Committee for Delivery & Legacy (SC).

The stadium will be closed so that required preparations may be made for the FIFA Fan Festival, which will take place in Al Bidda Park from November 20 to December 18, 2022, during the football competition.

Through their Twitter account, the SC announced the announcement today.

Football fans will flock to the FIFA Fan Festival at Al Bidda Park, which will show every match live and feature stage performances, food and beverage outlets, cultural activities, and sponsor activations. The FIFA Fan Festival will have the capacity to host up to 40,000 visitors.
