Two guards were killed and another wounded when an explosive device exploded targeting a car of a member of the Parliamentary Assembly in Balochistan province, southwestern Pakistan.

The Pakistani News Agency stated that the device was planted by unknown persons and exploded targeting the car of a member of the Parliamentary Assembly in Balochistan province, killing two guards and injuring another.

For its part, the Balochistan provincial government reported that the member of the Parliamentary Assembly had survived the explosion, noting that the security services had arrived at the site of the accident and began the search operation to arrest those involved in this explosion.
