Covid-19 booster vaccination in Qatar
More than 5,000 people are receiving COVID-19 booster doses every day in Qatar, said Dr Samya Ahmad Al Abdulla, Senior Consultant of Family Medicine & Executive Director of Operations at Primary Health Care Corporation.
In a video posted on the twitter account of the Ministry of Public Health (MoPH), she explained that over 70,000 COVID-19 booster doses have been safely administered in Qatar so far.

Regarding booster dose side effects, Dr Al Abdulla said they are almost similar to the ones associated with the first and second doses of the vaccine.
“These side effects are represented by a slight rise in temperature, headache, fatigue or pain at the injection site,” she said stressing that “they are the same common symptoms that are usually observed with all other vaccines.”
