Nick Jonas marks 8 years since Priyanka Chopra's proposal with a throwback

The singer shared an intimate photo from the night he popped the question, prompting a sweet reply from his wife.

Nick Jonas has marked eight years since he proposed to Priyanka Chopra Jonas, sharing an intimate throwback photo from the night she said yes.

Taking to social media on Sunday night, the singer posted a selfie from the proposal, in which he smiles at the camera while Priyanka partially hides her face behind her hand, proudly showing off her sparkling engagement ring. He captioned it simply, “8 years ago she said yes,” alongside a ring emoji.

Priyanka reshared the picture with a short message of her own, writing, “So grateful you asked.”

Nick proposed in July 2018, around the time of Priyanka's birthday, having famously shut down a Tiffany & Co. store to pick out the ring. The couple married in December 2018 in a lavish multi-day celebration at the Umaid Bhawan Palace in Jodhpur, combining Christian and Hindu ceremonies.

They welcomed their daughter, Malti Marie Chopra Jonas, via surrogacy in January 2022, and have since shared frequent glimpses of their family life on social media.

The anniversary post came just days after Priyanka celebrated her 44th birthday on July 18, which she marked with family in Spain. She recently spoke warmly about Nick during an appearance on the Jonas Brothers' podcast, calling him her “safe space” and revealing that she affectionately calls him “Babu.”

On the work front, Priyanka is preparing for the release of S.S. Rajamouli's ‘Varanasi’, in which she stars as Mandakini opposite Mahesh Babu.
