Mr. Khalid Hussain Abdalla, the media spokesperson at the Ministry of Labor, said that a total of 900 jobs in the private sector are available for Qataris and Children of Qatari Mothers, during the “Al Ghabga” program on Qatar TV.

Mr. Khalid said that the recruitment phase is only an offer and a request by the private sectors and those who are looking for a job, whether they are Qataris or Children of Qatari Mothers.

So far, a total of two phases have been launched with 900 jobs in private sectors including Finance and Insurance, Energy and Industry, Communication and Technology.

Mr. Khalid claimed that the Ministry is offering jobs that include all the sectors except for the labor ones, through the Kawader Platform, in collaboration with the sectors that offer such jobs on the platform.

He said: We are currently trying to collaborate with companies and other organizations to increase the number of Qatarization jobs in these entities.

The official media spokesperson also pointed out that a university qualification is enough to enter the job market in the private sector, this allows haivng programs to train new graduates for a period up to 6 months or 1 year or 2 years so that they are fully trained to take on leadership roles and this training is something that is not always available in the government sector, therefore the private sector is different in that way than the government sector.
