Qatar has very little culture or history— Myth
This one couldn’t be further from the truth. In addition to being immensely proud of its varied customs and traditions, Qatar takes great pride in offering its guests a diverse array of cultural experiences. At the very least, visitors should check out a few top-notch museums, a UNESCO-designated site, and the Katara Cultural Village, whose striking architecture will leave you speechless and perhaps running late for your next destination. You don't want to be late for your cruise on a local Dhow, an integral part of Qatari culture that dates back to as early as 600 AD. Of course, no visit to Qatar is complete without spending at least a couple of hours wandering through the alleyways of the Souq Waqif, where traders have been peddling for centuries.
