Ministry of Sports and Youth Announces Closure of Membership Registration for Endurance Racing Club

The Ministry of Sports and Youth announced that the registration for membership of the Endurance Racing Club, which takes place in the Qatar Racing and Equestrian Club, will be closed on Saturday, in preparation for moving towards the election of the president and vice president within the next phase of the club's establishment.

The Sports Affairs Department of the Ministry of Sports and Youth said in a statement that the Endurance Racing Club will be responsible for organizing and managing the endurance races which were previously organized under the umbrella of Qatar Endurance Committee.

The statement added that the establishment of the Endurance Racing Club by the Ministry of Sports and Youth aims to develop the sport of endurance racing and meet the aspirations of fans and practitioners of this sport.

The registration period for membership in the Endurance Racing Club started in the Qatar Racing and Equestrian Club on Oct. 17 for 14 days, and was extended until Saturday.
