New fast-track service for labour recruitment requests in Qatar

You can now complete labour recruitment transactions for companies committed to the provisions of the Labour Law within minutes, by using Fast Track service offered by the Ministry of Labour through Hukoomi portal.

Qatar has now made the recruitment process overseas easier owing to the newly launched electronic service that would benefit both employers and workers.

The Ministry of Labour has launched a fast-tracking service that allows new labour recruitment requests to be done electronically.

The Ministry posted on its twitter account that companies can obtain visa approval to bring their workers from abroad within a few minutes, in accordance with the specified criteria and requirements.

“Only companies that adhere to the provisions of the Labour Law can benefit from the new service,” the ministry said.

It comes as part of the ministry's efforts to develop the recruitment request procedures for the private sector, and to upgrade the smart electronic services in the labour sector.
