Museum of Islamic Art Park
The Ministry of Labour (MoL) is set to host a series of sports events at the Museum of Islamic Art Park on Tuesday in celebration of National Sport Day. As part of its ongoing engagement with the national workforce, entrepreneurs, employees, and the general public, the initiative includes a diverse lineup of sports activities.
These activities encompass children’s obstacle courses, sack races for kids, soccer, volleyball, pool, badminton, kids’ tug of war, horseback riding, giant bowling, snakes and ladders, tennis, and exclusive events for children.
The Ministry extends an invitation to the national workforce in the private sector, business owners, workers, employees, their families, and the public to actively participate in the sporting events and activities organized by the Ministry of Labour on Tuesday, February 13, 2024, starting at 8 am.
Emphasizing its commitment to National Sport Day and the annual organization of this event, the Ministry acknowledges the pivotal role of sports in fostering a healthy community capable of contributing to the country’s comprehensive development, aligning with the objectives of Qatar National Vision 2030.
The Ministry underscores its significant focus on promoting sports within workplaces and workers' housing areas, alongside ongoing initiatives to enhance awareness. This effort is conducted in collaboration with joint Labour committees, emphasizing the importance of engaging in sports activities due to their direct positive impact on societal health.
