Minister of Endowments Meets Several Islamic World Countries Muftis, Scholars

HE Minister of Endowments and Islamic Affairs Ghanem bin Shaheen Al Ghanem met with a number of prominent muftis and scholars

HE Minister of Endowments and Islamic Affairs Ghanem bin Shaheen Al Ghanem met on Wednesday with a number of prominent muftis and scholars, and their accompanying delegations, from across Islamic world countries, who are hosted by the Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs in the State of Qatar during Ramadan 1445 AH to participate in Ramadan talk program "Amenhum men Khawf" and the Ministry's scientific and advocacy programs during the holy month.

During the meeting, HE the Minister of Endowments welcomed the scholars and muftis in the State of Qatar. His Excellency stressed the significance of the vital role of scholars and muftis in serving society, directing people towards goodness and piety in accordance with the Quran and Sunnah, and strengthening frameworks of tolerance and peaceful coexistence among all segments of society in all its sects.

The meeting also saw the exchange of views and discussions on current religious issues of concern to the Islamic nation in general. Most prominent issues related to fatwas and legal rulings were also reviewed in light of the current challenges as well as religious and social developments in the Islamic world.
