Minister of Commerce and Industry Meets Malaysian Minister of Rural Development

HE Minister of Commerce and Industry and Acting Minister of Finance Ali bin Ahmed Al Kuwari met on Sunday with HE Malaysian Minister of Rural Development Datuk Dr. Abdul Latiff Ahmad, who is currently visiting the country.

During the meeting, they reviewed bilateral relations between the two countries, in the commercial, investment and industrial fields, and ways to enhance and develop them, in addition to discussing trade policies and the efforts made by the two sides in the context of confronting the emerging Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.

HE Minister of Commerce and Industry and Acting Minister of Finance, during the meeting, highlighted the economic policies adopted by the State of Qatar and the role through which it contributed to removing restrictions to foreign investment and providing more investment opportunities for companies wishing to invest in Qatar.
