Mina District
The Mina District is preparing to receive the holy month of Ramadan with many Ramadan and heritage activities, by hosting 20 activities, with the participation of more than 80 local commercial units, and some well-known brands in the region.
The Mina District has recently emerged as one of the most happening places in the country.
The port is decorated with distinctive Ramadan décor apart from a full list of activities that it will organise throughout the holy month.Â
More than 80 small entrepreneurs and home business, along with brands and distinctive products suitable for this month from local commercial units are participating in various activities at the Mina. In addition to Ghabga being held on the sidelines of the Mina Market, there are many distinguished exhibitors, as well as Mina Majlis will be organised, where Ramadan and heritage memories and stories will be recounted. Art workshops for children such as pottery painting and other artistic activities will also be available at the district.
In the same context, it is scheduled to revive the ‘Al-Mesahar’ tours in the Al-Mina neighborhood, as well as the Garangao event in the middle of Ramadan with presence of popular bands, and the ‘Farewell Ramadan’ event during the last five days of the holy month.
For marine sports lovers, the port will organise activities in the evening before Iftar, by providing kayaks, paddle boards, and jet ski, and other marine sports available in the Box Park and the port. These activities will be available from  2pm until the Iftar, in addition to cruises with traditional dhow and yachts, which will provide unique services, including breakfast and Suhoor meals, in an exceptional experience for the visitors of the port.
Visitors to the port can also enjoy a daily tour of their cars after the Asr prayer until the Iftar, as an extension of the classic car will tour daily at the port.
Also the port is preparing to open the 60-meters long fishermen's house, with different levels to serve different sizes of marine boats and seagoers, which is located behind Halul Café, and will also facilitate the process of unloading marine boats to and from the sea.
Throughout the days of Ramadan, the port will witness the firing of the Ramadan cannon at Iftar time in the garden opposite the Box Park.
