Mascot for FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 to be unveiled in Feb 2021

Qatar has a vibrant calendar of festivals and tourism events that take place every year and help build interest in the country’s diverse and authentic tourism offerings.

Qatar National Tourism Council (QNTC) has announced the upcoming events for 2021 via its online platform, Qatar Calendar. 

One of next year's calendar highlights is the launching of the mascot for the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022. It is expected to be unveiled in in February 2021. 

The 2022 World Cup Countdown is scheduled in November as per Qatar Calendar 2021.

Based on the calendar, two Qatar 2022 World Cup stadiums: Ras Abu Aboud Stadium and Al Thumama Stadium, are also likely to be inaugurated in May 2021 along with Amir Cup.

It was also noted that the 80,000-capacity Lusail Stadium, that will served as the venue for the Qatar 2022 final, is set to open in December 2021.
