Jordanian Parliament Speaker Meets Qatar Ambassador in Amman to Strengthen Bilateral Ties

The Speaker of Jordan's House of Representatives, HE Mazen Qadi, received Qatar's Ambassador to the Hashemite Kingdom, HE Sheikh Saud bin Nasser bin Jassim Al-Thani, in Amman on Tuesday in a meeting that underscored the deep and enduring bonds between the two brotherly nations.

The two sides used the occasion to review the state of bilateral cooperation between Qatar and Jordan, reaffirming the strong historical and fraternal ties that have long defined the relationship between the two countries.

HE Speaker Mazen Qadi emphasised Jordan's House of Representatives' firm commitment to advancing parliamentary relations with Qatar's Shura Council, stressing the importance of strengthening communication, consultation and the exchange of expertise and positions on shared regional and international concerns.

Qatar's Ambassador echoed that commitment, reaffirming Qatar's dedication to deepening bilateral relations and expanding parliamentary cooperation between the two nations. HE Sheikh Saud also expressed his appreciation for the active and constructive role played by Jordan's House of Representatives across regional and international parliamentary forums.

The meeting was also attended by HE First Deputy Speaker of the Lower House Dr. Khamis Atieh and HE Chair of the Jordanian-Qatari Parliamentary Brotherhood Committee Abdulrauf Rbiehat, reflecting the broad institutional engagement between the two sides.
