Iran's Military Threatens Regional Bank Strikes Amid Escalating Conflict
Tensions in the Middle East escalated on Wednesday after Iran’s military warned it could target U.S. and Israeli banks and economic centres in the region, following an overnight strike in Tehran. An administrative building linked to Bank Sepah was reportedly hit, causing casualties.
The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) cautioned that a “most violent” missile barrage could be directed toward Israel as the conflict intensifies. Israeli authorities also reported injuries during overnight strikes.
Regional concerns are rising as security tensions continue to affect multiple countries, raising fears of broader escalation and instability.
