Individuals Arrested for Illegally Trapping and Concealing Seagulls for Sale

A group of people has been apprehended for trapping and concealing seagulls inside a fishing boat, intending to sell them. The Ministry of Environment and Climate Change (MoECC) posted images of the rescued seagulls on social media, emphasizing that this act constitutes a blatant violation of fishing regulations.

The Marine Protection Department, as per the Ministry's statement, intercepted the boat at Ruwais Port and subsequently handed over the offenders to the appropriate authorities for legal action.
