The Ministry of Public Health (MOPH) has signaled that all Qatari citizens and residents travelling back to the country from Umrah and has not received a valid PCR test report will be allowed to board their flights provided that they will be asked to take a PCR test at Hamad International Airport or for road travelers crossing Abu Samra Boarder at a flat rate of 300 QR per test.
MOPH also said that as per the travel and return policies to Qatar and according to Saudi’s rule during the light of global epidemic, those individuals with certified vaccination shots are only allowed to perform Umrah and can visit Mecca.Â
MOPH further added that all individuals traveling to Saudi are required to refer to the return policies and procedures announced by the Awqaf ministry.Â
