GCC Games Doha 2026: Qatar Tops Medal Table with 109 Medals

The State of Qatar continued to lead the overall medal standings with 109 medals at the conclusion of the sixth day of the fourth GCC Games Doha 2026, and scheduled to run through May 22.

Qatar's tally includes 39 gold, 38 silver, and 32 bronze. On Sunday, Qatari athletes added 13 more medals—3 gold, 6 silver, and 4 bronze—in competitions including athletics, bowling, and table tennis.

Saudi Arabia is in second place with 61 medals—24 gold, 19 silver, and 18 bronze—while Bahrain holds third with 54 medals, including 22 gold, 20 silver, and 12 bronze.

Oman retained fourth place with 25 medals—10 gold, 4 silver, and 11 bronze—followed by the United Arab Emirates in fifth with 44 medals, including 8 gold, 15 silver, and 21 bronze. Kuwait ranks sixth with 41 medals, comprising 7 gold, 12 silver, and 22 bronze.

The fourth GCC Games will continue on Monday with competitions in snooker, padel, volleyball, and handball.
