Gaza Death Toll Rises to 73,384, Health Ministry Says

The death toll in the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023 has risen to 73,384, while 174,242 people have been wounded, according to figures reported by the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza.

The ministry said hospitals in the Gaza Strip received two people who died from earlier injuries during the past 24 hours, along with six wounded people.

Casualties Reported Since October 11 Ceasefire

The ministry said the number of deaths recorded since the ceasefire on October 11 has reached 1,257, while 4,131 injuries have been reported during the same period.

It added that 806 bodies have been recovered.

Victims Remain Unreachable

According to the report, a number of victims remain beneath rubble and in the streets, with ambulance and civil defence teams still unable to reach them.
